Urban Fetes Mix N' Mingle Event Highlights Urban Fetes (fetes meaning elaborate party or celebration) brought together young adults who are professionals and gifted talented artists across the Chicagoland area to network with one another and to celebrate being talented individuals. Held in a sexy yet sophisticated loft space located in the south loop, the event was very fashion driven where both the males and the females were dressed to impress at this event.  The Mix N' Mingle was a great opportunity for people to interact and mingle in a private setting. The room was filled with photographers and press to capture this energetic event.  Founder of Urban Fetes, Shannon Waldron (who I would consider to be a Young Urban Debonair), explained that he started these "Mix N' Mingle" events to give young individuals such as himself an an "alternative from the regular club scence". He describes his parties to be in a "comfortable setting which has very limited amount of security" and also "the individuals that come to the events, he feels comfortable and enjoys that others are comfortable as well."Urban Fetes also provided their guests with live entertainment from talented artist around Chicago. Performances from Lauren Akainyah, Lynn Solar, and Eb Wool gave the audience a wonderful concert. Check out the pictures from their showcase. Drinks were definitely flowing sponsored by Courvoisier who provided the party with Courvisier Rose, a that provided an elegant touch for attendees to sample and enjoy. While drinks were being supplied, the DJ kept the party pumped with all of the hits that we love.     Upcoming R&B songtress Lynn Solar hit the stage with confidence and a fierce attitude to compliment her impeccable talent as a vocalist.  She slayed her performance with her rendition of Cee-Lo Green 'Crazy' and stellar performance of Beyonce '1+1'. I look forward to see more performances from her around Chicago. For more please visit: http://www.youngurbansociety.com/2012/07/urban-fetes-mix-n-mingle-event.html?q=urban+fetes  ” - Just Buks
